Everyone dresses up as zombies and can get there make-up done like zombies by making a minimum donation of £2.50 per person to the Birmingham Childrens Hospital. The walk itself lasts for approx 1 hour 15 minutes. Along the walk we will be visiting a variety of city centre locations such as Oasis Market, Victoria Square Centenary Square, High Street and near the Bullring. We will also have a Zombie Raffle, Zombie 'Shoot 'em up' competition and the best zombie award happening. The walk will finish at popular alternative city centre venue Subside, where we will all party like it's the apocalypse!
The event itself is a fantastic opportunity to have a great day, meet new people and raise money for a very worthy charity. The event is open to people of all ages. Last year we had families with young children come along and join in the fun, all dressed as zombies!
Last year we also had Monster Energy come down to keep the dead alive by handing out free cans of Monster Energy Drink® before the walk. The awesome Monster Energy Team will return again this year for the Birmingham Zombie Walk 2011. It’s a great event to be a part of and it gets bigger and better each year. We hope to see you all at this years Zombie Walk in Birmingham!

After feasting on brains throughout the city centre we’ve been tipped off that any remaining humans will be hiding in a zombie safe house at the Birmingham rock bar "Subside" and straight after the walk, the Zombies will be dragging their undead bodies to “Subside” to finish them off. Conveniently this is where the walk is going to finish. The after party is open to people of all ages until 9pm, where you will then need to be over 18 to stay and party into the night.
The only thing left to do then is celebrate our success with a party that will raise the dead. "Subside" have been kind enough to create a special "Drink of the dead" cocktail with 50p from each cocktail sold going straight to Birmingham Childrens Hospital. The winer(s) of the Zombie Raffle will be announced in the evening along with an awesome Xbox Zombie 'Shoot 'em up' video game challenge and the best costume award will also be announced. We’re going to have some absolutely fantastic prizes to give away that we will announce here shortly, so you will not want to miss this.
Over 18's will require ID to stay in the venue past 9pm and to be served alcohol.
So lets party like it's the apocalypse...
